- As contract Paid Social Media Manager you play an instrumental role in helping test and prove the value paid social media can deliver on bottom-line business value.
- Candidate will leverage data and insights to recommend program strategies, develop campaign tactical plans, report on performance and establish long-term learning agendas and a backlog of ideas for multiple platforms and campaigns
- Reporting to the Director of Paid Social Media, candidate will also work in close partnership with client in-house team, internal Marketing partners and stakeholders to educate on paid social media best practices, gain approval for strategy recommendations, and report on progress and learnings.
- Paid social media plays an important role in driving measurable business impact for the organization.
- In this role candidate will build, implement and measure complex paid social media campaigns that deliver on upper and middle funnel goals.
- This role will require a deep understanding of social media advertising capabilities, proven stakeholder management skills and strong analytical rigor.
- Oversee client mid-funnel paid social media campaigns to deliver efficient traffic and recommend new ideas and testing plans to improve performance and scale
- Assist in the design of an overall audience strategy that breaks down campaign silos, leverages upper funnel campaigns and first-party data and that aims to increase retargeting opportunity to deliver hotel bookings
- Analyze multiple data sources to understand program performance, communicate results to appropriate partners and make recommendations for key areas of improvement
- Coordinate with social strategy partners to ensure best-in-class creative that supports media objectives and ideal customer experiences
- Partner with agency partners (where applicable) and social media platforms and assist in establishing streamlined ways of working that increase efficiency and outcomes.
- Serve as Paid Social Media expert with key marketing partners and leaders
- 5 to 7 years of digital media ad planning experience, social media preferred
- Knowledge of digital media buying, measurement principles, and media math
- Knowledge of DCM, and web analytics
- Demonstrated ability to direct and set strategy for digital media and optimization activities
- Proven successful stakeholder management and solid communications
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and complex project deliverables
- Knowledge of travel, or experience in a demanding performance marketing environment
- Experience providing constructive direction to agency partners, driving improved performance and strong relationships
