We are the waste management leader in Europe, the United States; and one of the largest global companies in the environmental sector by managing 85 fixed plants in Europe, (Spain, UK and France), the United States and Oman; with over 2,100 employees worldwide.Tradebe is seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic Supervisor based out of our facility in Millington, TN. Our number one priority is safety and we are looking for an experienced professional diesel mechanic to conduct maintenance on our fleet of company vehicles, commercial trucks, and heavy equipment.As Tradebe’s Diesel Mechanic Supervisor you will:
Control inventory, labor and repair cost through various computer software systems.
Prioritize and assign work task on a daily basis.
Ensure quality, compliance and safety regulations set by company standards.
Mentor mechanics on further education and training on DOT regulations.
Monitor quality of work on equipment leaving the repair shop.
Other duties and task as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
A High school diploma or equivalent
3 + years of management experience with diesel heavy duty trucks and equipment
Must be proficient with various computer software systems
Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of the DOT regulations
ASE certification desirable, not mandatory
Must have your own tools
Physically able to lift 60lbs
