Principal Sourcing Officer provides leadership

in ensuring all approved products are purchased under cost effective contracts.

Identifies and coordinates all opportunities for contracting of new and

existing equipment, supplies and services. Evaluates products and vendors.Department Summary:Our department sources, purchases services,

supplies, and equipment which supports education, research and patient care.

Negotiates complex contractsfor continued cost savings and reliability.

Performs financial analysis andneeds assessment for purchases and products to include considerationrelated to total cost impact.

Identifies any and all forms ofcost savings opportunities utilizing benchmarking data.

Communicates purchasingstrategies to the buyers.

Position Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and5 years relevant experience
