Warehouse Associate

THIS ROLE WILL BE AT A CUSTOMERS NEW WAREHOUSE FACILITY IN Mt. Juliet, TN Role SummarySummit’s warehouse associates play a pivotal role in fulfilling our customers’ needs for materials and services by receiving in new material from our vendors, picking customer’s orders for will call or delivery, and participating in cycle counting and other inventory management practices.  This role is Summit’s entry level branch position and an excellent role to be introduced to the business and learn skills, product knowledge, and industry best practices that prepare the associate for future opportunities at Summit.Principle AccountabilitiesForklift experience (sit down forklifts & reach trucks) Attention to detail Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit’s commitment to a safe workplace.All associates will be cross trained to handle both inbound and outbound responsibilities
