We Are HiringRN - Registered Nurse / NICU Part-Time, Days St Thomas Rutherford Hospital - Murfreesboro, TN Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital is a 358-bed hospital located in Murfreesboro, TN. Rutherford County is one of the fastest growing counties in Tennessee. As such, our facility is keeping pace meeting the demands of our community. We are a certified stroke and chest pain center, have a Level II NICU, 26 bed ICU, 36 bed step-down ICU. In addition, our Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the state, seeing upward of 300 patients per day. We are working towards becoming a Level II Trauma center, increasing our acuity of NICU to Level III, and have submitted a certificate of need for the state to evaluate our desire to perform open heart surgeries. What You Will DoProvide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program credentialed from the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following required:

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
