Job description
  • Lead a release of a multi-release business and technology transformation program in a manner that helps assure the maximum delivery of the program value proposition to the enterprise.
  • Govern program release solution and scope; work with Program Leadership to escalate and resolve conflicts.
  • Accountable for representing business interests in the release and coordinating between Release Team resources and the broader Program Team.
  • Manage internal and external resources engaged on the program, and effectively manage stakeholder relationships within the business across regions and business units.
  • Determine and manage the program release timeline, resource plan, responsibilities, and budget with IT and system integration counterparts.
  • Coordinate resource requirements for the program release, and work with Program Leadership and process teams to resolve resource conflicts.
  • Identify, prioritize, and mitigate issues and risks related to the program. Take ownership of issues and risks and coordinate mitigation and resolution efforts to realize the benefits of the program.
  • Plan and lead business readiness activities across business units and regions.
  • Ensure the solution design for the program release aligns to process and technology leading practices, is standardized across regions and business units and aligned with the global standard solution to be leveraged in future releases.
  • Lead communication to Program Leadership and stakeholders impacted by the program release.
  • Maintain consistency between the baseline scope and estimate by following an agreed upon and documented change control process and attending the change control board.
  • Embrace, coach, and evangelize agile values and principles. Ensure a culture of "Plan, Do, Check, Adjust" is incorporated to support the identification of lessons learned to be shared for future releases.
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to facilitate cross-functional project/program prioritization and manage cross-functional dependencies.
