You will be working in the Global Service Introduction (GSI) organization in Nashville. Our team is responsible for delivering end user business applications globally to our Microsoft desktop, server and RDS Xenapp estates.Our packaging and verification team are responsible for ensuring that software is released in line with standards and to a high quality ensuring operational stability. Overall the wider GSI teams are responsible for the planning, packaging and verification, testing and deployment phases of line of business software releases globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively deliver quality application packaging solutions to our global line of business clients
  • Operate our service against a defined set of SLA's
  • Be part of the team delivering daily business, project or migration services
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and present technical solutions
  • Be the subject matter experts for packaging technologies and GSI toolsets

Mandatory Skills Description:
  • Ideally 3+ years experience within the field of application packaging in a global enterprise environment
  • Proficiency in interpreting non-technical business requirements into technical specifications, able to work with business requesters, developers or 3rd party vendors to get to end solutions
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Operating systems both desktop, server and RDS Xenapp
  • Experience with packaging and personalization technologies such as Installshield Adminstudio, MSI, App-v, Appsense, VMware UEM. Experience with Numecent would be beneficial
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and procedures
  • Ability to deliver under pressure whilst maintaining quality, skilled in technical troubleshooting over a range of disciplines
  • Drive service improvements and automation of the packaging process
  • Explore the application of machine learning to improve package reliability (ex: conflict detection)
  • An excellent communicator, with good interpersonal skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:Drive reporting improvements using tools such as Splunk and Power BI is a plusExperience delivering packaging automation would be an advantage
