Automation Support Engineer to join our team in

Nashville, TN. This individual will work on-site at one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

SummarySupport Engineers execute on the operational support of production automations across business units to include problem research, bug/break fix, operational maintenance and review, and automation enhancements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop automated tools / scripts to specifications
  • Thoroughly tests developed products
  • Supports development of technical standards
  • Prepares specifications of a highly technical or complex nature
  • Analyzes user specifications and requirements
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements
  • Works to participate and learn best practices and procedures
  • Adheres to best practices for software design, retention, documentation, and deployment strategies
  • Works directly with service operations, product, and vendor teams to resolve, prevent, and eliminate customer technology issues
  • Gathers and documents business, user, functional and non-functional requirements for in scope products
  • Establishes and maintains solid business relationships
  • Actively owns and participates in lifecycle management of assigned applications and infrastructure
  • Provides afterhours/on-call support for applications
  • Has the ability resolve simple to complex production support issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement."

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study preferred
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a Systems Engineering, Analyst or Developer
  • Skill in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to meet deadlines and set clear expectations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within the organization
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
