CereCore is seeking a Cloud Engineer - Consulting Level to join our team in Nashville, TN. This individual will work at one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. Overview: The Cloud Engineer - Consulting Level will work directly to advance the data platform and data engineering vision of Accelerated Technologies. The role is a key hands-on keyboards contributor to all HCA Intelligence Net data deliverables, will drive platform modernization to the cloud, and will engineer platforms for automation, repeatability, and immediate and future needs of the business. Responsible for support, growing, and evolving Data Platforms and Services that enable critical healthcare applications for on-prem and Google Cloud Platform cloud environments This team is responsible for building data platforms across the enterprise that our developers can use. We build out cloud services, help manage, on-board and support the cloud platforms developers use. Primarily in Google Cloud Platform, so ideally candidates have Google Cloud Platform experience with data - BitQuery, DataFlow, PubSub, BitTable, and today we deploy those services using Terraform. Infrastructure as Code to configure and deploy services is another skill candidates must have. After we deploy, we manage - full monitoring and alerting, performance. Also build out DevOps for our teams such as CI/CD capabilities for our teams. If candidates don't have Google Cloud Platform, than equivalent cloud experience (AWS or Azure) would be the type of person we are looking for. Need someone that has experience doing this at a large scale - There are hundreds of products building off the services we provide. Terraform experience is an absolute must. Google Cloud Platform is a close second. Ideally, some kind of development expertise (using that broadly) be able to script, code, maybe some developer background that's helpful OR if they have expertise in the data engineering side. Responsibilities: Design and build services/solutions to support Product Developer community Involved in all aspects of design, automating, and deploying software products into both on-prem linux environments and Google Cloud Platform Cloud using tools like Terraform and Ansible Using DevOps toolchain to build automation across Cloud environments Supporting all Platforms and Services operationally for the Enterprise Work with cross-functional teams to identify the areas where automation and software solutions Bringing SRE mindset to building and supporting critical healthcare applications Drive monitoring and alerting requirements/implementation using SRE principals across components Collaborate with and mentor members of the team and other coworkers Be agile and embrace change Position Requirements: Experience in building, deploying, and managing Cloud services particularly in Google Cloud Platform (or equivalent Cloud AWS, Azure) Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum development Experience with Github Development or other Version Control System Understanding of SRE Principals and how to apply Experience with devops tool chain: CI/CD, IAC (Infrastructure as Code), Monitoring, Package Management, Version Control Understanding of restful APIs Experience with Hashicorp Terraform to build and deploy Cloud environments and services Experience with support large software systems or platforms providing service to it's users Hands on experience in troubleshooting problems for mission critical applications and services Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment Experience supporting critical applications in the Cloud, preferably in Google Cloud Platform Proficient in one or more programming and/or scripting languages: java, scala, python, bash, C# CereCore was formed in 2001 as a shared service business within a large hospital operator.
