Our client, a leader in their industry, needs a DevOps Software Engineer to join their team in a long term, fully remote contract role.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the DevOps Software Engineer:- Maintain AWS CI/CD Pipelines, QA Automation
- Design and implement CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Design, evaluate, implement, document, and provide instruction on DevOps pipeline implementation and best practices
- Provide support and fine-tune a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects across other product teams
- Gather, analyze, and review system requirements/enhancements, document specifications, and develop software solutions
- Monitor and manage cloud deployments, including the implementation of auto-scaling and cost-management techniques
- Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans
- Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs
- Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation
- Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- 5-7 years experience required in an IT field with at least 3 years in a DevOps role
- Experience implementing Ping and Sailpoint Applications
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Large IT security, systems software design, and development experience
- Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems
- Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
