- Proven experience within the field of application packaging in a global enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting non-technical business requirements into technical specifications, able to work with business requesters, developers or 3rd party vendors to get to end solutions.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Operating systems both desktop , server and RDS Xenapp, experience supporting a non-persistent environment would be beneficial
- Extensive experience of packaging and personalization technologies, including Installshield Adminstudio , MSI , App-v , Appvolumes , Appsense , VMware UEM , experience with Numecent would be beneficial.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and procedures
- Ability to deliver under pressure whilst maintaining quality, skilled in technical troubleshooting over a range of disciplines, good knowledge of file signing and collision and verification issue resolution.
- Experience delivering packaging automation would be an advantage.
- The replacement candidate will be required to drive service improvement and automation of the packaging process
- The new candidate will help drive reporting improvements using tools such as Splunk and Power BI.
- Explore the application of machine learning to improve package reliability e.g. conflict detection.
