DescriptionOne of our clients in Nashville is looking for an experienced IT Support Manager to join their team. This position is a long-term contract with a high likelihood of extensionThe IT Support Manager is responsible for technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of applications and infrastructure to support business functions. They are the face of IT for the client's business segment and need to be capable of having technical conversations with non-technical individuals, all the way up to C-level end usersRequirements
3-5 years or more of managerial experience directly managing IT resources, working with offshore teams, leveraging internal IT Shared Services matrix-based support teams and partnering with vendors to provide excellent IT support.
Ability to interact with senior internal and external leaders with effective verbal and written communication.
Demonstrates broad knowledge of infrastructure subcomponents and interoperability including (but not limited to) cloud technologies, network, firewall, server, storage, telecom, AD, SMTP, SFTP, SSIS, SQL, etc.
Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including, but not limited to production outages.
Plans and executes IT implementations/changes that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
Experience with ITIL and ITSM systems/tools to provide support and IT metrics.
Monitors and manages proactive maintenance of applications and infrastructure, including documentation of SOPs.
Demonstrates knowledge of system information dependencies, end-to-end application transaction competency and accounts for HIPAA/PHI and credit card security protocols.
Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents.
Estimates to high-level business requirements and provides options analysis.
