We Are Hiring: Performance Improvement Manager - Full Time, salaried - Ascension Saint Thomas

Remote hybrid schedule - must be onsite for applicable meetings

Ideal candidates will possess 5+ years of data management expertise, SQL / Python experience preferred. The Performance Improvement Manager will be responsible for 8 direct reports (analysts), previous management/leadership experience is strongly preferred. Interested candidates, please apply! What You Will Do: Job Summary:

  • Manage all activities related to process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, conduct, and follow-up on analyses, events, programs, and initiatives which lead to the establishment of process improvement systems.
  • Provide process improvement education and mentorship at all levels of the organization.
  • Establish business priorities around process based on value-added goals and outcomes.
  • Develop, teach, coach and mentor staff in process improvement principles.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification, resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/performance measures.
  • Oversee performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
  • Act as a resource and provide direction to leaders, physicians, and associates to maintain regulatory preparedness. All other duties as assigned.
  • Aggregate data, provide reports/graphs to management and participate in audits of departments/processes for compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Plan, organize, conduct and follow up on Quality initiatives and regulatory activity as directed.
  • Identify infrastructure and resource needs to achieve performance improvement goals.
  • Promote an effective and sound peer review process. Leads staff to pursue problems to resolution and/or refer them through the appropriate chain of command. Facilitate the quality improvement process by ensuring that agendas for assigned meetings are coordinated effectively and assure that meeting preparation is performed timely.

What You Will Need: Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.

Work Experience:
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
