job summary:
Randstad Technologies is hiring a Network Engineer in Nashville, TN. This position will begin as remote, but will be primarily onsite when we return to the office with approx 20% of remote work. Applicants must be local, or willing to move to Middle Tennessee. The network team is responsible for managing/maintaining all aspects of network services with regards to security, resiliency, and capability. We utilize cutting edge technologies to manage network services.Qualifications and Skills:- At least 1 year of experience in an enterprise or service provider network environment.
- Cisco certification(s)
- Expert level understanding of networking protocols and services such as TCP/IP, STP, VPC, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MultiCast, Advanced route redistribution and management and others commonly used in modern networks.
- Experience and understanding with security technologies and deployment concepts such as DOT1X, Access-Control List, Cisco SGT's and others commonly used in modern networks.
- Excellent written and verbal skills including delivery of technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Works with network monitoring and management applications and creating highly-reproduceable configuration scripts and templates
- Configure, install, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, virtualization, and servers
- Manage, monitor and troubleshoot network environment using Orion and DNA center
- Support network automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Cisco NSO, SaltStack)
- Set up and maintain VOIP technologies
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Education: High School
- Routers (1 year of experience is required)
- Switches (1 year of experience is required)
- Firewall (1 year of experience is required)
- Cisco (1 year of experience is required)
- Virtualization (1 year of experience is preferred)
