- IT Degree educated
- Minimum 7 years of experience with IT industry, preferably with recent experience in data analytics and automation engineering
- Strong technical skills in application/infrastructure support with an understanding of application, infrastructure platforms and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of service and delivery management principles based around the ITIL framework and broad technical understanding of a high availability and global environment.
- Ability to identify and visualize complex use cases.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills in English. Able to translate complex technical issues into plain English, easily digestible for customers and stakeholders.
- Technical specialist who is able to bring creative solutions to modern business challenges with an emphasis on automation, tooling and continuous improvement.
- Strong collaborator who can engage with technically diverse teams to analyze and drive demand reduction through the use of automation technologies.
- Infrastructure platforms Linux/Windows, Oracle/Sybase/Postgres/Cosmos Databases
- Shell scripting, Python, Perl, PowerShell, Java script
- Cloud Technologies – on Azure – Monitoring & Security
- Automation of application integration using APIs
- Job Scheduling - Autosys
- Monitoring / Visualization tools – NetCool/Splunk/AppDynamics/DynaTrace
- Incident Management – Ticketing & Reporting Tools (ServiceNow, Tableau)
- Automation platforms – IPSoft, Automation Anywhere
