Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Scrum Master for our client in middle Tennessee area. This role will join a team dedicated to Agile best practices, and implementing a true agile/scrum environment across the board. This candidate will routinely wear the hats of facilitator, teacher, and coach to help enable product teams to develop customer-centric software products as a servant-leader. Qualified candidates will be skilled in removing team impediments (including addressing root causes), and facilitating collaborative interactions and events aimed at delivering business value. Expertise in the essence of the Agile Manifesto's 12 principles is a must. This is a great opportunity to join a growing healthcare company in a vital and visible capacity!

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of IT Experience or Bachelors Degree in related field
  • 2+ years as a Scrum Master
  • Technical Background
  • Knowledge of common and complex Agile practices, software development environments, and industry best practices
  • Experience with visual/graphic facilitation (sketching skills)
  • Experience with Kanban boards, scrum of scrums, and effective value-driven backlog management practices
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high comfort level presenting to senior management (communication is critical)
  • Strong teaching and coaching skills as well as conflict resolution skills
