CereCore is seeking a Sr. QA Engineer to join our team.

What are 3 must have / desired traits/experience that the Manager would most like to see?1. 3+ years of strong UI and API testing experience2. 5+ years of exp. - Test automation experience - Building and Executing3. Experience creating and executing complex SQL queries

Oversees all aspects of the application testing activities for a given effort, which can include functional, integration, load, and performance testing across UI, API, and database. Testing will be conducted using automation first approach. May assist project team with high-level design and/or integration considerations. Will contribute to building and improving automation frameworks, testing processes, as well as help mentor and lead junior-level and mid-level QA members of the team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (The essential responsibilities and accountabilities of this position including interactions with other departments and outside vendors, if applicable, in PRIORITY order.)•Perform all necessary testing for Sprint/Kanban work, regression, etc.•Build new automation test scripts using object oriented programing languages like C# or java•Build web UI automation using Selenium web driver•Build API and database test•Maintain and debug existing automated test scripts and active manual tests•Mentor across QA teams within organization•Build test automation framework as needed•Create training material for QA across organization as needed•Work as quality lead within Agile delivery team•Collaborate with the delivery team members to develop Agile testing strategies that address areas such as database impacts, functional software use cases, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability•Help the team prevent defects by baking in quality practices early in the planning and development phases•Defect discovery, prevention and tracking with the scrum team•Execute Manual testing when automation may not be ideal•Help mentor junior-level and mid-level QA resources as needed

Required Qualification: •4+ years of OOP experience with languages like C#, Java, Python, etc•5+ years of relevant experience including 3+ years of QA experience•Experience implementing test automation frameworks•Experience with UI automation technologies like Selenium, HP UFT, or Cypress.io•Experience with source code repository like GIT, TFS or subversion•Proficient experience creating and executing complex SQL queries•Proficient experience with API testing•Experience with tools like ALM, Rally, JIRA, etc•Experience with integration testing (large-scale multi-app solution a plus)•Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or TFS a plus•Experience with performance testing a plus
