- Scripting as it pertains to Linux
- Oracle RAC (not as important), but the ability to jump in and check one, make sure it’s working properly, etc…
- Experience with Windows Server 2012-2016 (build, config, troubleshoot)
- Experience with Group Policies
- Experience with Powershell Scripting, writing scripts from scratch
- Experience with Active Directory
- Experience working with Nutanix
- Exposure to Vcenter
- Experience to VMware ESX and MS Hyper-V.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows 7, and all common server and workstation applications.
- Experience deploying and configuring cloud automation solutions as part of the vRealize implementation.
- Experience deploying VMware integration and extension services components.
- Experience running validation activities on the installed environment.
- Experience with web hosting.
- Experience with storage solutions experience (netapp, VMware, Nutanix).
- Independently troubleshoot technical problems by analyzing the problem and applying a methodology to resolve the problem.
- Provide technical assistance and training to end users.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
