Western Express is currently looking for help in our Body Shop. We are a trucking company based in Nashville with over 2,600 tractors. These will be full-time positions but are open to part-time work if needed. We're looking for all levels of technicians, from entry-level with little to no experience or veteran body techs that have been doing this trade for 20 years. We have two schedules right now, Mon-Fri from 5am - 2:30pm and Mon-Fri from 2pm to 11:30pm. We will provide tooling for any entry-level associates that need them.
Job Description:
- Quick Lane Body Work: Minor fleet repairs from bumpers to fairings to mirror replacements
- Moderate Repairs: Fleet repairs from minor to moderate accident damage
- Major Rebuilds: Heavy wreck damage repairs ranging from front-end accidents to complete cab replacements
- Sale & Trade Work: Prepping trucks to turn in from removing decals and cleaning to heavier body work
Great way to get in to the field as an entry level body tech, working with more experienced techs. A few things we're offering:
- $500 Sign-on bonus for entry level associates paid after 90 days of employment
- $2,000 Sign-on bonus for experienced body technicians
- Referral Bonuses of $500 - $1,000 paid over 45-90 days for bringing in qualified technicians
- Industry Competitive Starting Wages
- Ability to work extra hours with $100 daily bonus working a 6th day outside of normal schedule
- $50.00 Annual Work Boot Credit
Benefits are available through Blue Cross Blue Shield to include Medical, Dental, Vision and also a Fidelity 401(k). Pay will range from $13.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour depending on experience. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
