Local Recycling company is seeking drivers.
Must be able to drive and operate a 16 foot box truck or smaller. Must have a clean driving record, a working phone with unlimited data, be able to lift 50 lbs, and willing to work in all weather conditions. Looking for full/part time drivers for 1st and 3rd shift. Starting pay is $12.00 an hour.
The 3rd shift hours we are hiring for are:
Sunday-11pm-7am
Monday-11pm-7am
Tuesday-11pm-4am (Tuesday night is a shorter shift)
Wednesday-11pm-7am
Thursday-11pm-7am
(The starting and ending hours can be flexible.)
The 1st shift hours that we are hiring for are:
Monday-7am-2pm
Tuesday-7am-2pm
Wednesday-7am-12pm
Thursday-7am-2pm
Friday-7am-2pm
What does the job entail?
We pick up recycling from appx 3,000 residences and 150 business in Murfreesboro/Rutherford County.
At each stop you will be removing a full bag of recyclables from a can and tossing it into the back of a box truck. We also collect broken down cardboard, and totes of glass. The average stop is pretty simple, and easy to handle. Once the truck is full, you will be unloading it at our sorting location into cargo trailers. Each driver averages 100-150 stops a day.
THIS IS DEFINITELY A PHYSICAL JOB! Starting pay is $12.00 an hour. We are a very small company called Stones River Recycling, and have been active in town for 3 years now. Feel free to look us up on social media.
