Being a florist isn't always a bed of roses. You'll need to:
Be comfortable standing for the majority of the day
Lift heavy containers when sorting stock Imagine a 5 gallon bucket full of water, large plants, etc.
Have Excellent Customer Service
Have basic computer knowledge
Work well with others and independently
Willing to get a little dirty Working with flowers can be a bit dirty.
MUST BE AVAILABLE to work Overtime during specific times: i.e.: holidays & work some weekends
