Current Position Available: Maintenance Worker (2-hours a day, Monday-Saturday)

Location: Old Hickory, TN, 37138

Salary range $11.00 to $12.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Provide basic maintenance work for the self-storage facility

Remove overlocks on storage units

Sweeping the property

Look for any damage to the facility

QualificationsExperience & Qualifications

Ability to pay close attention to detail and good organizational skills

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required in order to perform essential functions of this job

Weekend availability is required

Strong Computer skills

Infrequentlycarry weight and/or lift objects(light to heavy) weighing up to 25 pounds

Core Competencies

Good written and verbal communication skills

Good organizational skills

Proactive, self-starter, goal oriented and ability to work independently

Maintain a positive attitude and composure

Collaborative Team Player

Must maintain and hold a valid State Driver’s License (if driving for Company business for the role)

Education

High School Diploma is required

Physical Demands

Move/Traverse: frequently bend, stand, stoop and/or walk

Carry Weight: infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 50 pounds

Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with clients who have inquiries about their storage accounts, billing invoice or other related account matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, facility objects near and far

Climb: occasionally ascends/descends a flight of stairs to service the lights and/or reach overhead

Work Environment

Regular professional, office business setting

Noise level ranges from low to moderate (if in office setting)

Noise level ranges from moderate to high (if on construction worksite)

Frequent outdoor exposure working in outdoor weather conditions (if working at the facilities storage units)
