Essential Job Functions
Responsible for maintaining and loading material and equipment necessary to perform daily tasks efficiently and correctly.
Ability to identify diseases and insects common to Middle Tennessee.
Communicate effectively and professionally with homeowners and co-workers.
Follow instructions on fertilizer and pesticide labels, and be able to apply correct amount of material through proper calibration of equipment.
Responsible for proper daily record keeping according to state requirements.
Requirements
1.5 years experience or Associates degree in related field
Able to handle multiple tasks given during the course of a day.
Plant identification of common plants used in TN.
Highly effective communication skills.
Ability to lift 50-80 lbs. consistently.
Experience using Excel.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively with limited supervision.
Passion for plants, customer satisfaction and self-fulfillment.
Must have Category 3 Pesticide applicator certification
