A service technician, or skilled service worker, is responsible for providing repair and service work either in the field.
Service technician job duties and responsibilities:
Service technicians are required to ensure that the equipment they’re responsible for servicing or repairing is kept in good working order. They should also be able to replace or install parts.
Their general range of duties includes:
Installing new equipment parts ensuring that they work correctly and safely.
Assessing installation functionality.
Handling customer relations in a professional and friendly manner.
Demonstrated initiative to visualize, organize, manage, and complete projects in individual and group
Ability to interface with all levels of staff.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to multi-task while completing work in a competent and professional manner
