Near Nashville /Looking for a Worship Pastor /Spread the Word
Thank you for your interest in our opening for Worship Pastor. As you are aware there are a lot of great singers and musicians looking for their place in ministry, we are searching for the man/woman God has appointed to lead our people to the throne.
After providing the information below your resume will be considered alongside others received and you will be contacted as soon as we are ready to move forward. We understand your need to stay informed and will do our best to keep you abreast as best we can. We hope to have the position filled ASAP. But will not rush the process.
We pray in advance that God will confirm you in your calling and illuminate His will where all are concerned.
Provide the following with your Resume: (Feel free to be brief so long as the information is provided in a ample manner.)
1. Music, include:
a. Links, CD's, or digital recordings. Also, include a video of you leading worship.
b. A song of you singing something that you have written
c. Provide your experience as musician/singer, both secular and religious.
d. Any formal music or vocal training.
e. Do you lead from an instrument? If so what are your primary and secondary instruments.
f. A statement with the following:
i. Your best description of what your music style is. For instance, are you more contemplative, meditational and introverted in your approach to worship, or extroverted and aggressive, with a heavier emphasis on spiritual warfare and taking the land. Again, you might say "enthusiastic and joyous". Do you motivate the crowd toward deep thoughtfulness and quite prayer, or into dancing and shouting?
ii. What genre do you belong to?
iii. How important is worship to you on a person level, how important in the life of a Church, and individuals walk with God?
2. Tell us about your family. (We really want to know!)
3. Brief testimony of your salvation, history as a believer, and what God is speaking to you regarding your future walk with Him.
4. A simple Vision Statement for your ministry.
5. Brief testimony of when you were filled with the Holy Spirit. Do you operate in any of the 9 gifts of the Spirit listed in 1 Cor. 12? If so please share which ones.
6. Tell us what you see the office of a Worship Pastor entailing. (What you do if hired.)
7. Are you willing to relocate if necessary?

9. Work History
10. Contact information of your present Pastor and the church you attend. (If confidential as in yu are still on staff and looking to move feel free to state the fact.)
