Systems Architect Location: 100% Remote Duration: Long-term contract Compensation: Highly competitive and negotiable

Responsibilities:

Provide Advisement & Consulting services to non-Security IT groups across the enterprise; review and assess solution proposals, identify and communicate necessary security controls to ensure the enterprise data, processes and brand are secure while enabling our Business; identify alternative solutions and mitigating controls when necessary
Liaise with other security architects and security practitioners to collaborate and share best practices and insights
Maintain current technical security knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and performing research
Maintain meticulous and current records in internal tracking system for all assigned consulting projects

Qualifications:

Experience in a technical consultancy role providing technical security guidance and direction to non-security teams
Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure: Applications, Databases, Operating systems - Windows, Unix and Linux, Hypervisors, IP networks - WAN and LAN, Storage networks
Experience with IAM technologies and services and Active Directory, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
Cloud Security experience (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform) including using container architecture such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to influence others to achieve desired result
Proven skills in solving complex technical problems with cross functional teams
Experience with securing PHI, PCI and PII data in transit - internal and external, and at rest
Working knowledge of IT service management
Experience with FISMA, PCI and Hi-Trust controls

Certifications:

CISSP certification required
CCSP, CISM, CISA, or other industry recognized Security certifications a plus
Cloud security certifications a plus
