United States - Tennessee Information Technology (IT) Job Reference # 219349BR City Nashville Job Type Full Time Your role Are you an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with experience of supporting databases across a complex enterprise environment? Do you have the technical and enterprise skills to analyze, organize and improve the enforcement of risk controls for database? Do you have the technical background to develop into a Subject Matter Expert on Oracle Enterprise User Security with OID and Oracle security features?We're looking for a DBA to:• analyze and remediate security risk issues for our firm's Oracle database,• setup and support databases using Oracle Enterprise User Security(EUS) with Oracle Internet Directory (OID),• become a Subject Matter Expert in the support of OID: advising, troubleshooting and formulating solutions for the wider team - prior experience is desirable but training will be given,• support and manage escalation of production issues in our firm's database operation,• develop innovative solutions to improve the reporting and enforcement of risk controls• contribute to the IT Audit for database Your team You'll be working in the Security & Risk team as part of the Database Operations function. Our team provides specific focus on supporting authentication and enforcing appropriate security risk controls in the database environment. This benefits our firm by seeking the best possible protection to its data from inappropriate access. As a Subject Matter Expert on Oracle security and OID, you'll play an important role in maintaining reliable and effective controls. Your expertise • bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field• ideally 4+ years of experience supporting Oracle production databases (11g, 12c, 18c) in a UNIX environment.• good understanding of Oracle Advanced Security including SSL authentication using certificate method.• SQL/PLSQL, UNIX script, LDAP and other coding capability to develop enhanced control solutions. • experience of Exadata and RAC; exposure to MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Sybase is a benefit.• knowledge of operation support principles and the importance of security risk controls.• ability to analyze data, formulate solutions and communicate your understanding to colleagues• complex technical problem solving and document appropriate procedures for team members to follow• working knowledge of Splunk is desirable About us Expert advice.
