Zycron has joined with a large healthcare company in search of an Automation Engineer. This is a contract position in Nashville, TN.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Serve as technical leaders in Client’s automation community of practice
- Lead development teams in the execution of larger programs
- Executes against enterprise-wide, cross-functional automation initiatives
- Develop automated tools / scripts to specifications
- Works with multiple areas at Client to ensure understanding of assigned task.
- Drives the development / implementation of automation work products.
- Thoroughly tests developed products.
- Establishes standards of scripts and work products developed so others can update / utilize.
- Supports development of technical standards.
- Prepares specifications of a highly technical or complex nature
- Analyzes user specifications and requirements.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
- Works to participate and learn best practices and procedures.
- Adheres to best practices for software design, retention, documentation, and deployment strategies
- Works directly with service operations, product, and vendor teams to resolve, prevent, and eliminate customer technology issues.
- Gathers and documents business, user, functional and non-functional requirements for in scope products.
- Establishes and maintains solid business relationships.
- Actively owns and participates in lifecycle management of assigned applications and infrastructure.
- May provide afterhours/on-call support for applications.
- Has the ability resolve simple to complex production support issues
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Serves as project management or leadership role in managing work efforts
- Training and mentoring of peers and other staff
- Bachelor's degree Information Systems - Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering, Automation, or Development - Required
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- UiPath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA) - Preferred
- UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) – Preferred
- Knowledge of primary automation domain - Required
- Knowledge of primary infrastructure domain - Required
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery - Preferred
- Knowledge of REST - Preferred
- Knowledge of testing best practices and procedures - Required
- Knowledge of agile and lean methodologies - Required
- Knowledge of Six-Sigma practices and methodologies - Preferred
- Knowledge of multiple business/technical domains - Required
- Knowledge of policy-based management - Preferred
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures - Preferred
- Knowledge of AI/AIOps - Preferred
- Knowledge of Machine Learning practices and uses - Preferred
- Knowledge of application development and support - Required
- Knowledge of the use of technologies in a healthcare environment - Preferred
- Skill in using scripts to execute processes - Required
