- Use disciplined project management methodologies to define scope, establish milestones, develop project plans, and execute projects that are delivered within costs and schedule constraints.
- Work within cross-functional teams of co-workers, clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects
- Analyze present-state processes and develop alternative future-state processes and facilitate their implementation
- Serve at the primary contact for project stakeholders during projects
- Communicate project status to project stakeholders
- Manage and mitigate project risk factors to insure on-time delivery of projects
- 4 year technical degree (greater work experience may be considered in place of degree)
- 6+ years experience in project management in a IT environment
- Working experience in an Agile development environment
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects at once
- Experience managing and communicating project related activities using MS Office tools (MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Visio)
- Experience working on large operational implementation projects
- Finance management i.e. experience managing budgets between $1M-$5M
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Project management certification (PMP) preferred
- Additional working experience in other IT roles such as development, QA, Infrastructure, etc.
- Professional experience managing offshore or remote projects
