Novamet Specialty Products is a medium sized, high tech materials company located in a corporate park in Lebanon. We are looking to fill an entry-level position - Production Tech 1 to begin a career ladder to work in various areas within a plant producing metal powder products to exacting specifications and which become active components in various high tech applications.
The position requires a person with commitment and attention to detail and the ability to learn with training to run and be responsible for operating these unique processes to produce these materials.
The applicant will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Some post high school training, classes in high school or collegiate chemistry, or prior experience with chemical processes of any kind are considered a plus. The candidate must be able to lift 70 pounds, be able to climb stairs and be on their feet for much of the day in this active position. The successful candidate will be expected to be on time, and to work a schedule and have strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn various processes and grow in knowledge, responsibility and compensation over time.
This is a full time position offering excellent medical, dental, life, and disability benefits. Pay is competitive and starts at $11.00 for candidates with no experience but the right attitude and commitment. Pay can be higher for experience or applicable education.
