Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)This position is responsible for equipment set up in preparation for startup, and removing hide while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Must operate air knife. Responsible for skinning left leg with air knife. Remove hide off of the leg. Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds. Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas. Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment. Must be willing and able to complete cycles in less than 10 seconds. Internal: Must not have 8 or more attendance occurrences. Must not have a final written warning or suspension on file in the past 6 months. Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.External: Must have 3 months previous manufacturing work experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.At Tyson, we are raising expectations for how much good people can do.
