Design, implement, test, and support modern, efficient, secure software within the domains of web, api, and data
Teach and mentor other team members in the disciplines and techniques with which you excel
Build customer confidence and trust by delivering working software on time and often
Bring an innovative, always learning, agile/lean mindset to the team
Work closely with others to determine requirements
Act as a thought leader in web application best practices
Lead the effort to automate everything
Champion Lean/Agile in everything you do
Required Skills:
BA/BS in Computer Science or similar discipline
10+ years of experience creating web applications in an agile environment
Deep experience with at least one modern, object-oriented language
Deep experience with at least one modern scripting language
Strong experience with databases
Understanding of software design patterns and their use
Strong automated testing skills with knowledge of TDD and BDD techniques
Agile/Lean mindset
Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe experience
Understanding of front-end and back-end technologies and architectures, such as API design, micro-services, relational and non-relational databases, scalability, and security
Capable of obtaining and maintaining a DOD Secret clearance
