JOB SUMMARY The Podium Speaker introduces Diamond Resorts to assigned tours through an approved, scripted presentation. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Facilitates a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation while speaking.
- Ensures professionalism and excellence in podium presentation and podium material to include equipment.
- Provides a high level of time management including presentation time and down-time.
- Drives sales results.
- Achieves budgeted Value Per Guest with monthly variance.
- Assesses performance trends of Sales Representatives and provides regular feedback to Sales Representatives and Managers.
- Provides ad hoc training as needed.
- Embraces change dynamics aligning with strategic direction of Diamond Resorts International®.
- Provides superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards.
- Consistently demonstrates how We Love to Say Yes™ by maintaining the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with team members, management, members, owners, and guests.
- Operates general office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum (1) year of experience in the vacation ownership and public speaking field required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid Real Estate License, specific to the state of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform as a confident communicator who is able to adapt his or her strategy and approach to reach varied groups and individuals.
- Strong memorization skills.
