JOB SUMMARY

The Site Support Training Manager performs and implements daily training at the local level. The Trainer assists new Vacation Counselors with on-boarding, growth, and development for consistent transition from the new hire training onto the sales floor. In addition, the Trainer works directly with new hires for the first 60 to 120 days of employment to assist with retention and long term development of new team members and closing of sales. The Trainer provides resources in mentoring, coaching, and sales techniques and successfully follows the corporately approved training curriculum.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Works closely with the Regional Sales Trainer, Business Unit Sales Training Manager, National Director of Training, Site VP of Sales, Director of Sales and Sales Managers.

Carries out specific duties according to established Standard Operating Procedures, which includes daily training sessions according to the sites’ and Vacation Counselor needs.

Develops and manages new Vacation Counselors to increase productivity and retention.

Develops and monitors an on-boarding/release to the line process for all new Sales team members.

Works on individual and/or group training, and must support complete DRI presentation.

Ensures all technology devices are used properly and are supplied for most effective training.

Improves current Sales processes through mentoring of site Sales managers.

Performs specific projects to assist BU Sales Training Manager, National Director of Training, Vice President and Senior Vice President of Sales.

Provides superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards.

Consistently practices We Love to Say Yes® and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members, and prospects.

Operates office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).

Takes over and closes sales as needed.

Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.

Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum two (2) years of experience in the timeshare sales field required.

A minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in the timeshare sales field required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides immediate supervision to direct reports. Oversees and controls the work performance of others in a close working relationship, often in the same room or close proximity. A portion of the time may be spent performing individual tasks similar to those performed by direct reports. May participate in the interview, selection and training processes, as assigned. May be responsible for assigning work to direct reports, reviewing results in accordance to policies and procedures, and providing recommendations to management.LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS

Valid Real Estate License, as required by state law.SKILLS & ABILITIES

This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.Specific skills and abilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Must be an effective communicator, with excellent oral and written skills to be able to improve current sales processes through mentoring of site Sales managers.

Able to take over and close sales.

Computerproficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Understand how to develop and implement business strategies.

Excellent customer service skills.

Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.

Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.

Ability to interpret and create spreadsheets.

Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
