Description:

Responsible for applications that comprise of end to end custom development solutions which run on multiple platforms composing of multiple software packages. Responsible for performance, availability and scalability of all of applications and deliverables as well as maintaining the functional interfaces as it pertains to applications and infrastructure.

Primary duties involve working with the business, IT applications team, business process design team and the implementation project teams to affectively model the business requirements into the target applications. Involved in planning, estimating, designing, and ensuring customizations and integration components are designed to meet the business needs complying with industry standards.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as creativity and the ability to work with abstract concepts. Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment. Advanced skills in their respective area: Oracle; PeopleSoft; IBM and SailPoint.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and qualifications.

We are looking for a technical architect with full stack development experience. Please do NOT send profiles of candidates who only have development experience we do not want a developer.

Required:

• Self-starter with an in-depth hands-on work experience with large-scale implementations of JAVA/J2EE technologies

• Direct experience migrating applications from the enterprise to public cloud providers (e.g. Amazon, Google, or Microsoft)

• 5+ years of experience with Java / J2EE technologies and Architecting solutions using Web technologies

• 3+ years architecting, implementing, migrating and deploying cloud based solutions (Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS)

• Understanding of Infrastructure as a Service, Infrastructure as Code and related concepts on public cloud

• Ability to drive end-to-end Technical management, assessment of application deployment and design of the environment, and gaps against requirement

• Prior experience in gathering technical requirements, performing gap and technical analysis, developing technical specifications, and architecting application solutions to roll out on a large scale

• Experience can also include performing OS/DB migrations, system copies, application re-platforming, OS/DB/Network/Storage administration

Preferred:

• Knowledge of J2EE, .NET, and cloud technologies development languages and tools, to continue with development

• Container experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms

• Understanding of Agile, SCRUM and Continuous Delivery

• Prior experience designing and implementing large scale solutions or doing systems/data center migration is preferred
