Position DescriptionThe Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for providing information and guidance to our customers personnel regarding the material flow of the operation. This position is located at the customers’ site. The incumbent will schedule inbound trailers to the dock, in-report material on the host system and act as a troubleshooter for materials that cannot be processed through normal channels. Additionally, s/he will handle the processing of “hot” parts, field calls and answers questions regarding materials that flow through the location.Additional qualifications:
Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, etc.)
Must have a flexible schedule for OT
Must be flexible to work weekends
Highly prefer candidates that have the flexibility to work the 2nd or 3rd shift

High school diploma or GED
Experience with inventory systems
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to:
Utilize math skills to analyze data
Walk on concrete floor up to eight hours a day
Work effectively with individuals from different areas and backgrounds, both inside and outside of the company; team player
Organize and prioritize tasks
Feel comfortable speaking in front of others
Knowledge of:
Cross dock processes; previous experience in the department
Inventory Management
Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities
Ensure that materials flow smoothly and efficiently through the location
Share information in a timely manner with authorized personnel
