The role of the Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries is to foster a strong educational program through building relationships with teachers, students, parents and church leaders that strengthens their commitment to the Church and growth in faith in Jesus Christ. The successful applicant will introduce, instruct, and nurture children, youth and families in their Christian faith and in life through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, worship, service, evangelism, and fun activities. Using existing programs such as Sunday School, small group meetings, and special seasonal programs, the successful candidate will create learning opportunities that excite and cause existing members to become disciples of Jesus Christ and invite others to that relationship.
The successful candidate will report to the Pastor for day-to-day operations and to the Staff Parish Relations Committee for fulfilling job responsibilities defined. No financial management responsibilities are anticipated in this position. A detailed Position Description has been prepared and is available for review by candidates.
