As the Senior Director of Sales and Territory Management, you focus on developing and implementing a successful territory management strategy that defines how Spectrum Enterprise approaches the market. You accelerate company growth by providing strategic direction and tactical execution to the entire sales organization.

You mitigate risks while maximizing sales by creating, monitoring and controlling all aspects of the territory management strategy, including the Sales Rules of Engagement. You have a keen ability for identifying roadblocks and overcoming obstacles to increase business and enhance the client experience. You thrive in an office environment and feel comfortable traveling as needed to achieve company objectives. You report directly to the Vice President of Sales Planning for goals and guidance.

What you will do:
  • Promote company-wide excellence by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
  • Establish sales strategies and guide all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience through effective management of the territory management strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish, define and align the Sales rules of engagement guidelines across the organization.
  • Develop discrete account modules for every Enterprise seller by leading the design, development and implementation of sales territories in Salesforce.
  • Guide resource management decisions to determine discrete geographic resourcing of all seller resources to meet Spectrum Enterprise Sales financial commitments.
  • Partner with Business Planning to drive data integrity and data management efforts for market data used by sales to support the territory management strategy and Sales Rules of Engagement.
  • Maintain standard territory management sales rules of engagement by resolving violations and disputes in conjunction with senior sales leadership.
  • Improve Sales operational effectiveness by managing daily activities of the territory management team while identifying and implementing best practices.
  • Maximize sales performance and support effective territory module management through proactive leadership of the Sales client relationship management (CRM) strategy.
  • Drive consistent and continuous application of the sales rules of engagement across all sales channels by supporting corporate Human Resources with disputes, conducting audits and working with senior sales leadership to reassign opportunities sold by the wrong sales channel.
  • Identify and implement continuous quality improvement philosophies, techniques and tools in all aspects of the position.
  • Achieve business goals by establishing strong working relationships with other executives and supporting team leaders to ensure a seamless continuum of effort.
  • Enhance sales performances through the development of training curricula that educate Sales organizations on the territory management and Sales Rules of Engagement processes and guidelines.

Required keys for success:
  • Three years of direct sales experience.
  • Five years of sales CRM and related technology leadership experience.
  • Ten years of general management experience.
  • Ten years of sales operations leadership experience.
  • Track record of building a consensus across multiple functions and teams to develop and implement key initiatives.
  • Confident when preparing and conducting data-driven presentations.
  • History of managing multiple projects simultaneously while defining key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Experience developing teams and maintaining a high standard of individual team member relations.
  • Telecommunications industry experience with specific and solid experience in managing sales operations.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the administration of sales CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated experience in direct business-to-business (B2B) sales and sales management.
  • Background in finances with the ability to effectively conduct audits and other data control programs.
  • Familiar with U.S. geography and market demographics.
  • Effective written and spoken English communications skills with all levels of an organization.

Your education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required).
  • Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).
