MMR Ambulance Services: Facility- Facility Transfers, Hospital Discharges, Direct Admittance, Airport Medevacs, Event Stand-By & Routine Scheduled Appointments.

JOB SUMMARY: (Full time & Part time Available)

The Ambulance Operator/ Driver provides transport for sick and/or injured patients to and from assigned facility and various locations as needed in accordance with department policies, procedures and protocols. Drives an assigned vehicle in non-emergent and emergent situations and in varying weather conditions, providing safe, reliable and timely transport to a designated point of service. Assists with patient handling, lifting using appropriate patient safety equipment and appropriate safety procedures. The Ambulance Operator works under the supervision of EMT partner and management.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The primary duty of all personnel is quality patient care and transport.

Responsible for the operation of assigned ambulance under control at all times and in accordance with all federal, state and local laws that govern ambulance operation, and in accordance with approved company policy on safe and efficient ambulance operation

Review daily agenda of pre-scheduled calls, locate address on map, if time permits.

Complete a check out list daily, before driving vehicle.

Responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and fueling of assigned vehicle, as well as documenting, reporting, and/or correcting any deficiencies found during the inspection

Report to work on time each day well groomed, and in a clean, pressed uniform.

Conduct self in an ethical, professional manner; project a positive self/company/system image

Maintain calm, pleasant, courteous attitude towards patients and allied health personnel.

Demonstrates personal commitment to the Organizations core values through active involvement in the performance improvement process.

Demonstrates safe work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, work to prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors, and participates in organizational and departmental safety programs.

Must maintain confidentially of all employee, corporate, patient records, and information in compliance with Corporate Compliance Policies and Procedures and all state and federal regulations and legislation.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Chauffeurs (AB) Drivers license

Valid CPR/ AED Certification

Must submit to and successfully pass State criminal history review, and drug Test.

Must be able to complete Company training within 30 days.

Must follow guidelines and standards as set forth by The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIIPA), Office of Inspector General (OIG) and Marianas Medical Response (MMR) policies and procedures.

Salary: $9.00 to $10.00 /hour
