Immigration Law Firm in South Carolina looking to add to our growing team. We are
seeking a motivated and compassionate associate attorney for immediate hire. Applicants must be well-organized, detail-oriented, have good written and oral communication skills, be proactive and be a team player, have a strong sense of personal responsibility, and an excellent work ethic. A positive attitude, compassion for others, appreciation of diversity, the ability to multi-task, and reliability are also key.
After appropriate training and under lead attorney supervision, the applicant will be expected to
handle cases primarily within the removal defense section of our firm. The applicant's
responsibilities will include: attending removal proceedings for both detained and non-detained
clients appearing before the Immigration Courts; providing client consultations at the office and in detention centers/jails; determining case strategy based on client's goals and eligibility for relief; assisting clients to complete forms, and gather supporting evidence; documenting country condition evidence; brief and motion writing; preparing clients and witnesses for appearances in Court; and traveling to and from South Carolina to the Charlotte North Carolina Immigration Court or other Immigration Courts.
The applicant is required to be admitted to practice law in the U.S. (Any Bar) and be a member in good standing. Prior experience in immigration law a plus but not necessary. We will consider recent graduates. Apply now by submitting your resume and a cover letter to ver datos contacto
