We're looking for an Industrial/Occupational Physiologist with experience and/or capabilities to assist with the following:
Industrial / Occupational Physiology
Occupational Injury Analyses
Job Requirement Analysis, Evaluation, and Validation
Statistical Analyses
Development of Physical Ability Testing
Implementation of Physical Ability Testing
Validation of Physical Ability Testing Procedures
The primary purpose of this role is to conduct and deliver an injury analysis of current workforce and use same data (and any industry related best practices) to develop and assist with the implementation and validation of a physical abilities test to be used for recruiting purposes.
The physical abilities test the candidate would develop should cover the following:
Accurately predicts physical performance
Minimizes risk of injury
Closely aligns with the job requirements
Is jurisdictionally specific
Is logistically practical and cost effective with consideration given to the availability and cost of equipment, and the ability to administer the test regularly and within a reasonable amount of time
Can be administered and scored in a consistent manner and is in accordance with applicable city, state, and federal employment laws, including but not limited to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
And assist with test implementation and validation; these details to be further reviewed/discussed during interview.
