Yacht Maintenance company based in Red Hook, St Thomas is expanding and looking for a new team member to manage our accounting and billing functions.
Candidate MUST have a general understanding of business accounting, strong math and organizational focus, computer literate, comfortable working independently, someone who takes ownership, able to forge strong relationships with customers and service techs, and understands flexibility is all around a go-getter.
This role will change and expand, as we continue to grow we are looking for a staff member who understand that they are part of a team and want to create growth.
Qualifications:
- Be able to prioritize and communicate issues to both technical service staff and management
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently with laser focus on detail
- Be positive. When things change and are frustrating we need a candidate who can find the bright side and find the solution
- Be improvement focused - continually offer feedback and assistance in making the company and the day to day operations better
- Be able to speak, email, with a focus on customer service both internally and externally.
- Be versed in Quickbooks, Excel, Outlook, Skype, WhatsApp
- Be legally able to work in the U.S. Virgin Islands
Responsibilities
- Create and process Quickbooks invoices
- Keep communications clear and transparent with customers and management
- Run reporting and analyze data using Excel and Quickbooks
- Identify patterns and suggest operational improvements
- Record payments correctly and in a timely manner
The right candidate must currently be living on island, have their own RELIABLE transportation to Red Hook, be legally able to live and work in the U.S.
