Breakfast/Brunch Restaurant at the end of the board walk in Christiansted. Previous managerial experience in the service industry required. High-end customer service, cleanliness, organization and a positive attitude are also critical to this position. This is a team-oriented environment with strong upper management support. Must send resume with references and be located on st. croix to be considered for the position.

Job Responsibilities include:

Shift supervision - leading and motivating FOH and BOH staff and enforcing FOH and BOH rules and opening and closing procedures along with Chef

Leading the daily pre-shift meeting along with Chef

Ensuring that food quality, presentation, and flavor are being upheld consistently

Managing the floor during service - welcoming guests, helping people to their tables, helping expedite food, customer relations and issues

Nightly closing: employee checkouts, doing tip outs, reconciling tip petty cash

Writing/Overseeing FOH schedules, managing time clock issues, reviewing/managing labor cost

Identifying marketing opportunities and ways to improve operations.

Identifying hiring needs, field potential employees, interview employees, and hiring FOH.

Using social media to promote the restaurant - events, specials, and in general.

Printing menus as needed

Managing, troubleshooting and updating the Point of Sale system

Handling FOH maintenance issues and technical issues

Coordinating scheduled maintenance and repairs along with Chef de Cuisine

Ordering tools, equipment and supplies for FOH

Updating liquor Inventory levels

Overseeing beverage cost

Ordering produce for juices and garnishes

Ensuring that drink quality, presentation, and flavor are being upheld consistently

Understanding inventory control; receiving orders and monitoring inventory levels

Training bar staff

Working on creating weekly drink specials

Overseeing FOH staff

Generating bi-weekly timesheet for HR to process

Communicate with Upper Management the status of operations
