Position summary:
The Payroll Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment processing bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations.
Tasks: Processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis for multiple locations. Ensure compliance with state requirements. Process new hires, terminations, wage verifications, and time and attendance for each location. Maintain employee personnel files. Coordinate with HR on employee benefit deductions. Assist and resolve various questions and concerns from employees. Process and reconcile 941s, 940s and W2. Complete and file federal and state tax reports. Skills: Organized and Self-motivated. Demonstrate solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance and confidentiality. Knowledge of Federal and State Tax reporting. Qualities: Excellent time management, organization, communication and leadership skills.
Experience and Education: High school diploma. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Payroll. Experience in time and attendance software. Proficient in Excel.
