I need a good metric motorcycle mechanic to work on my baby: a 1997 Honda Shadow ACE 100. It would intermittently "drop" a cylinder when riding. But now it's on on cylinder the whole time, even when immediately started.
I thought at first it was a coil, since the same cylinder drops, and the bike has 2 coils. I'm pretty sure it's a carburetor issue now. Dual carbs. One carb feeds one cylinder?
SoI'd prefer a mechanic experienced with carbs on V-Twins. The engine is a VT1100C2.
Abilene has so few good mc mechsnics! My guy at Kent's is off work. RSR is too busy. I am unfamiliar with local mechanics since I just moved here from Austin.
I'll pay up to $400 if you can fix my baby!
Bike is in excellent condition. Parked in front of my cottage, in shade, on gwted residential property.
