Description Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Accessibility Analyst to join their dedicated team. As an Accessibility Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our digital platforms, including web and mobile web applications, are designed and developed with accessibility in mind. Your expertise will contribute to creating an inclusive online environment for users of all abilities. Conduct accessibility assessments and audits on web and mobile web applications.

Utilize screen reader software and other assistive technologies to evaluate user experiences.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to integrate accessibility best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Provide guidance and support in implementing and maintaining accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.1.

Generate detailed reports on accessibility findings, including recommendations and remediation strategies.

Stay informed about industry trends, updates in accessibility standards, and emerging technologies to ensure our digital products remain at the forefront of accessibility.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in using screen reader software and other assistive technologies.

In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 standards and their practical application in web and mobile web development.

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to identify and address accessibility issues in code.

Experience conducting accessibility evaluations and audits.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate accessibility concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and methodologies.

Previous experience in advocating for and implementing accessibility best practices in a corporate setting is a plus.
