Job Description:

Responsible for enabling teams & Agile Release Trains to learn, implement and mature Lean Agile principles and practices; Trains and coaches teams on Agile and modern engineering practices; Empowers teams to become self-managing; Fulfills their cross-functional potential and has an attitude of relentless improvement; Guides and supports the transformation to Lean Agile education leaders on mindset; Performs hands-on training/coaching to teams in all aspects of Lean Agile; Coaches lead roles and teams to embrace a Lean Agile and learning mindset; Provides guidance about how to create and manage an intake process, healthy backlog and how to facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies; Helps align teams to Enterprise Agile standards and practices, and coaches team members through change; Facilitates discussion, decision making and conflict resolution within and across teams; Helps to identify and resolve organizational impediments that impact team maturity and performance; Provides feedback to management regarding the progress of Agile adoption within respective teams; Helps form and sustain Agile Communities of Practices and participates in the Agile Center of Excellence. This is an individual contributor role.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 yrs. experience in technology and working in an Agile environment
  • Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables
  • Ability to lead discussions with Agile leaders, managers and team members on relevant Agile topics
  • Working knowledge of JIRA
  • Scrum Master certified (CSM or SSM)
  • Ability to performs hands-on training/coaching to teams in all aspects of Lean-Agile
  • Experience in coaching within the Agile framework
  • Experience in coaching and demonstrating facilitation of core agile practices including but not limited to: Kanban, scrum, feature/epic and story backlog prioritization and grooming, Release planning, Iteration/Sprint planning, Metrics, Story distribution
  • Experience in transforming organizations from waterfall to Agile
  • Experience in weaving in regulatory requirements into an Agile flow of work by understanding what they are and lead team mates to do the right thing to ensure that all regulations are being followed.

  • SPC5 Certified
  • Effective team player, capable of partnering with a global team of strong, experienced coaches
  • Deep experience in scrum and or Kanban
  • Ability to affect change at all levels
  • Ability to affect change across large numbers of teams and products
  • Passion for process engineering, agility, lean thinking and rapid delivery of high quality products
  • Deep understanding of product flow, lean metrics and optimizations
  • Capable of striving in a fast pace, ever changing environment
