The Global Information Security organization is responsible for protecting bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. The team:

Develops the bank's Information security strategy and policy
Manages the Information security program and identifies and addresses vulnerabilities
Develops, deploys and manages a risk-based controls portfolio
Manages and operates a global security operations center that monitors, detects and responds to cybersecurity incidents

The Cyber Security Defense (CSD) function within Global Information Security is responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence and monitoring, application and network security, and insider threat. In addition, the CSD team drives out the enterprise-wide cyber exercise program.

The Network Security Engineer has accountability for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting network security solutions. You will utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to help design and implement a secure solution.

It is imperative that you have a solid knowledge of Cisco ISE, advanced router/switch ability, 802.11, and 3rd party security controls.

You will regularly collaborate with experts both in country and in other regions, so excellent communication skills are very important. If you are seeking a demanding role within Global Information Security (GIS) and have the required skills, this will be a great opportunity for you. Typically, applicants should have 5 to 7 years of cybersecurity or engineering experience.

Required Skills:

UNIX System Administration experience
Familiarity with one or more Programming Languages (e.g. Python, C)
Hands-on experience OR elevated conceptual knowledge in one of the following:
- Firewall engineering
- Router and Switch Engineering
- Load Balancer (F5 ADC) engineering
- Network Proxy (Bluecoat) Engineering
Understanding of the OSI model and applicability to network routing/connectivity
Understanding of basic networking concepts such as ARP, Traceroute, Ping

Desired Skills:

Experience with Skybox Security platform management (Strongly desired)
Familiarity with Network Architecture and Segmentation concepts
Familiarity with Offensive and Defensive security Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs)
Splunk Query Development

Enterprise Job Description: Operates tools and processes that provide cybersecurity defense. Uses technical expertise to provide systems disruption protection (DDoS), systems intrusion protection (IDS/IPS, WAF, Log Monitoring), network boundary protection (NAC, Firewalls), detects/prevents malware threats for applications and infrastructure and protects data leakage. Utilizes experience and deep knowledge of IT platforms, tools, and concepts to ensure cybersecurity protection is integrated into all layers of defense. Provides regular status updates to management team. Typically has 3-5 years of relevant experience in one or more threat prevention disciplines.
