Staff Accountant

To succeed in this role, you will need to perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. For immediate consideration, send resumes to justin.steffgen@accountemps.com What you get to do every single day - Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable - Take part in various department-wide initiatives - Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting - Manage intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation - Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll - Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation - Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation - Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP - Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation - Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision - Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments - In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts - Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested.
