This well known and fast growing Dallas based Restaurant Corporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their new team focused on International growth. You will be a key member of the Digital team as we build and launch the global ecommerce platform of the future. You will be defining stories and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline Platform product development while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features and components. Play a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring the Platform continually meets evolving business needs. Work with internal and external resources in a highly collaborative, Agile environment to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in multiple departments across the enterprise. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the customer liaison responsible for working with product development and other stakeholders to define and prioritize stories in grooming the team backlog.
  • Understand complex, cross-functional business needs and translate those needs into actionable plans for product development.
  • Assist leadership in developing the product vision and roadmap.
  • Ensure the product workstream aligns with the broader business goals and brand strategy.
  • Responsible for the overall direction and clarity on product delivery.
  • Attend and participate in Agile team ceremonies including PI Planning, Standups, Demos and Retrospectives.
  • Prioritize and plan iteration goals for the team that align to the Program Increment Objectives and articulate other development priorities such as Refactoring and Tech Debt, while ensuring the team alignment of the iteration goals.
  • Lead the team through iterations and help the team maintain focus on the goal of that iteration.
  • Work across teams to define and implement improvement stories that will increase the velocity and quality of the product.
  • Manage and prioritize the team backlog including breaking down features to be included in future iterations.
  • Manage iteration scope and ensure new requirements are not added to the iteration without creating clarity around economic trade-offs and impacts.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of product users, supporting technologies, 3rd party integrations, and the competitive landscape.
BACKGROUND:
  • Previous experience as a Technical PO taking products from inception to market.
  • Strong experience working working with Agile development teams developing SaaS products.
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex digital product roadmaps.
  • Ability to facilitate work across high-performance teams to rapidly develop and implement innovative, sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to produce clear documentation and reports for project-related work.
  • Ability to clearly present status or other key information to the management team.
  • Proficiency with Agile development environments and related management toolsets such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Proficiency in Visio, Lucidchart or similar software strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of distributed POS systems in a restaurant or retail environment is a plus.
  • Certification as Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or other relevant Agile certifications highly preferred.
